Happy Monday everyone! This week I’ve got another great workout for you. We’re now well into summer so I thought I’d increase the intensity a bit with this one. It’s a full body at home workout!
Like all the other workouts on this blog , this one was created by Shilpy Tandon a certified personal trainer. I hope you enjoy it, get ready for the BURN!
What you need
- A Mat
- Dumbbells – whatever weight you’re comfortable with ( I go for 4kg)
- A bottle of water
- Yourself
Full Body Workout
Warm-Up
3 Rounds of :
40 Second Side Plank Right
20 Seconds Rest
40 Second Side Plank Left
20 Seconds Rest
40 Second Normal Plank hold
20 Seconds Rest
Main workout
4 or 5 Sets of :
For each exercise – Workout for 40 seconds Rest for 20 seconds.
- Squat with Dumbbells
- Push-ups
- Alternative Forward Lunges with Dumbbells
- Should Press with Dumbbells
- Dead Lift with Dumbbells
Finisher
50 Burpees
Post Workout Stretches
Hold each of the following for 30-40 sec
1. Butterfly stretch
2. Cobra stretch
3. Child’s pose
The total workout should take you about 35-40 mins. You can incorporate this into your existing summer workout schedule!
